Well well, what to say?
I’ve seen Crash twice now. Excellent movie. It is powerful. Intense. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to throw things. Words can not express how wonderfully amazing this movie is.
I wantz to work with Johnny Depp one day. He’s so talented, and the more bio that I dig up on him, the more he sounds like the kind of person I’d like to be. He has a passion for his work but not the publicity that it generates. Great guy.
Well, my SPARC box got built the other day. Should be in the mail in the next two weeks or so I suspect.
Never did get that IRC server up and running. Can’t get the services configured correctly. Probably due to where Eric “uncommented” all the preprocessor directives. Damned sys admins.
Just finished negotions on the freelance programming job. Should have the requirements in by next Wed so I can ask more questions and write code. I ordered the Java Cookbook to get ready for the project.
Might be leaving the boring city of Huntsville. There is a too-good-to-be-true job offer in B’ham that I immediately pounced on once brought to my attention. Everybody do some VooDoo for me cause I need a miracle. (See, I told ya I’d explain it.)
I’m happy to be alive but there is so much I want to do.
Still haven’t gotten those communiqués out yet. Lots of Blue Portal stuff to take care of amongst other things. And yes, Dave, I will address the issues that I stirred up and caused. Just been really busy here lately and this weekend I’m the theater’s little bitch because of that stupid ghastly George Lucas film. Know what’s funny? The simplistic title: Star Wars. Think about that. That was the title of the government project that Regan was in charge of and now it’s been perverted and debased to such a level as this? It’s about time for Lucas to kill over.
I’ve got a lot of writing I got to do, but I don’t wanna do it. Can’t sit still long enough.
Might actually get to write the XML database program that I’ve had stuck in my head for three years now. Kewl beans, huh?
The Score Station is growing by leaps and bounds. Amy, you need to come join us in the chat. And you missed all the activity in the forums as well yesterday.
I need 36 hours in a day.
I need to get myself a girl.

No one checked out the cool animation that I linked to.
No one has left me a Family Guy comment on my last post.
No one has commented on the header.
Since I’ve described everyone but me, the world sux! If you would like an apology, please visit the animation, post a Family Guy comment along with a comment about the header on the previous post. Then post your thoughts for this post on this post.Well today started with the inclination to be a shitty day. I called someone to get advice on a certain subject. Once advice was given, further inquires were made upon the subject of discussion. This lead to the adviser lashing out irrationally about how thier advice wasn’t being taken. The adviser then procedeed to tell the advisee that they [advise] had accomplished nothing of substance which killed all of the optimisim of the advisee and reminded said advisee why he used to be a pessimist.
However, as the day progressed, the pessimism faded. Various tasks were completed. Follow up to ensue on select items in afore-mentioned compilation of tasks. Follow-up is not anticipated with exuberant enthusiasm.
Went by the TeeVee station today. We shall see what we shall see. A friend is still pulling to get me in where he works…referred me to the president of the company. Pretty kewl huh?
Programming project should be in full swing next week. IRC server config still giving issues. IRC server was moved from a Debian box to a gentoo box. The gentoo box was more automated (and feels more like Red Hat), but IRC services are still not configured after many hours of pondering various options. Indication(s) that the conf file isn’t appreciated. Perhaps a parse error?
Thought for the day:
I owe the government $3400 in taxes. So I sent them two hammers and a toilet seat

Being affluent sux.
Having a vivid and wild imagination for things that do not yet exist sux.

While he’s already acheived much fame for this animation, I want to share it with my friends.
For those of you who love Family Guy. The high Brian and Stewie ratings weren’t surprising, although I thought that I’d be Brian then Stewie. What’s surprising is that I ranked so high as Peter. Frightful combination. Shawn will have a laugh at this. Dr. Lecter is back!

You scored as Stewie. Stewie. Your ambitions for world domination can only befoiled by that blasted Lois. Stewie
100% Peter
80% Brian
80% Lois
55% Meg
35% Chris
20% What Family Guy Character Are you?

Stolen from SwitchbladeNGC who stole it from someone else. It’s funny how these things work on occassion. Need to clarify one of the results.
The Keys to Your Heart
You are attracted to those who have a split personality – cold as ice on the outside but hot as fire in the heart. In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you. You’d like to your lover to think you are flexible and ready for anything! You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please. Your ideal relationship is comforting. You crave a relationship where you always feel warmth and love. Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are afraid of marriage. In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You’ll do anything for love, but you won’t fall for it easily. I don’t view marriage as confining except via proxy i.e. getting married means I’d have to settle down and get a real job intead of chasing rainbows. I konw that this would make a lot of people happy if I actually did get a real job, but do you think I care? In the words of Will Smith, “ah, hell no!”

Alright things are looking up. Might have a job in construction by the end of next week. Don’t konw yet. Might have a part time programming job. Speaking of which, I still need to hit a few places here in the area.
In other new, got a new writing partner as well as stoking the fire under old ones…
Asked for Mother’s Day off and the (insert very descriptive term here) at the theater didn’t give it to me. They had better give me court day off, or I’ll sue. Don’t think I’ll come down for graduation unless I find some money soon.
If I can hold my own till Christmas and have a project or two done by then, I might be able to find the funds to make a movie or two.
Blue Portal Team, don’t forget to put Sidewalk on your calander.
