Reporting Live from the Battle Field…
That’s right folks. We report on Operation SaaH (rhymes with bah) or Operation Smile at a Hoe from ground zero. Operation SaaH is a clandestine operation suggested by our own Mr. Eric Howton in which I, Tomas Gallucci merely smile at the girls for a week without trying to get a date. The idea was I’d have five phone numbers to pick from by the end of the week.
Well, the week isn’t over yet, but I don’t have phone numbers. Operation SaaH has, however, earned me a big bear hug and an honorable mention, not including lots of flirting. More details to follow as the story continues to unfold.
Live from ground zero, this is Captain Savahoe, Channel WTF.

lol.
Perhaps your tactics are working, Captain.
Bah!
Drink lots of MacGrill’s honor system “tablewine.”
Id rather drink camel urine mixed with Franzia…oh wait! thats what Macarena Grill’s tablewine IS!
I remember when Macaroni Grill didn’t suck. That was right before they got bought out and everything went corporate. For example, they used to make their own tiramisu at each location. Now they just ship the frozen stuff in from New York because it’s more cost effective. Guess what? My wife won’t let us eat there anymore because of that. She can taste the difference. How cost effective is it when you start serving shit and people refuse to eat at your establishment?
Howton,
What’s your problem? Why are you now so hostile against the establishment which puts a roof over my head and food on the table? I’m confused. As far as wine, I wouldn’t know what it tastes like, nor am I a connoisseur of fine wines, so I have no comments there other than I’ll have to come up some day so you can teach me. When it comes to the tiramisu, I can’t speak for all the restaurants, but I do know that we make ours in the store. The cheesecakes, of course, are shipped in.
A word on business establishments in general: businesses normally execute their tasks in the most efficient i.e. cost effective manner. I do apologize that your wife won’t allow you to eat at Macaroni Grill anymore, especially if it’s on the pretense of economic decisions that corporate has made. But any restaurant that you go to that doesn’t cost less then $30 a dish is gonna be shipping in items in bulk. In fact, I daresay that all restaurants will ship inventory in bulk. Therefore, at some level, whatever you eat will be prepackaged or non-organic to begin with.
We live in a cursed world with cursed food. We breathe cursed air. In short, anything we consume is killing us. Time moves linearly and we are all approaching our end on this earth. It’s a part of life. We can choose to live in fear of this fact, or enjoy everything we can whilst we have the chance. Personally, I enjoy Macaroni Grill as a restaurant despite the fact the managers and I don’t see eye to eye on every issuse. Therefore, I’m not sure if you comment in jest or if this is a reaction to my constant bitching. This leads me to my next point…refer to new post.
What you FAIL to understand, is that BEFORE MacGrill started shipping in items in BULK, they made everything in-store, and built-up a customer based on good, quality food. Once they had their customer base, they stopped making everything inhouse, and started shipping in frozen TV dinners, and unwrapping them, microwaving them, and serving them. What did they care? People were going to eat there and they pocked fistfulls of cash.
I’m glad to hear you’re making your own tiramisu. Perhaps people stopped coming once they started shipping it in frozen from New York. My post was neither in jest, nor tongue-in-cheek. It was an honest apprasial. I’m sorry if that hurts you.
Frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass about the establishment…my only concern is that they make enough money to pay me exhorbant amounts of cash.
I need to find a real job though.
