  • All around me are familiar faces
    Worn out places, Worn out faces
    Bright and early for the daily races
    Going nowhere, Going nowhere
    Their tears are filling up their glasses
    No expression, No expression
    Hide my head I want to drown my sorrows
    No tomorrow, No tomorrow

    And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
    These dreams in which I’m dying, Are the best I’ve ever had
    I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
    When people run in circles its a very very
    Mad World, Mad World

    Children waiting for the day they feel good
    Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
    And they feel the way that every child should
    Sit and listen, Sit and listen
    Went to school and I was very nervous
    No one knew me, No one knew me
    Hello teacher tell me what’s my lesson
    Look right through me, Look right through me

    And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
    The dreams in which I’m dying, Are the best I’ve ever had
    I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
    When people run in circles it’s a very very
    Mad World, Mad World

    Enlargen your world
    Mad World

  • lol. your profile pic is so amusing.

  • :) as far as novels . . . something comedic or a thriller.  or something along the lines of . . . East of Eden by Steinbeck or What Men Carried by O’Brien.  none of that sci-fi crap though.  i’m not that geeky!

  • ryc: well . . . depends if there’s a meaning behind it or a strong development of character and growth. if it’s just bloods and guts…i’ll pass!

  • awesome!  thanks!  i’ll give those a try when i head to the bookstore. :)

  • Hello, I’m Stephan and I’m taking a survey. Do you think teachers dealing with children who won’t behave should have the right to use corporal punishent, like maybe a spanking, as a last resort. Do you think that punishing a child using physical pain is effective? Do you think spanking a child that is not yours is beyond cruel? Please take the time to comment me back.

  • Like a dog chasing its own tail.

  • cool vid –come w/ razor blades?

  • RYC: I help draft the corporate IT policy which prohibits streaming video at work. It was the imagery which came to mind as I imagined you as the author of the text.

  • ryc: I’m certain that idealism would kill me faster than the booze.

  • RYC: more like wierd, but thanks.

  • Ah Mad World…. we actually used that song in one of our plays last year…”Proof” it was funny we now refer to it as the birthday song since it randomly mentions a birthday…yeah that is about all I got sorry :)

  • Just surfed over from Drakonskyr’s site.  I love your profile pic.

  • You subscribed, thanks. I always wonder what make someone want to read my ramblings

    RYC:
    You made a good point about Christian men or really boys. I think they get better when they grow up.

    No I have never used Opera. I hear it is a great browser, but I find Firefox all but flawless. The complaints about it not working in some sites are talking about it not naturally accepting active x controls (you can add it). I’m happy it doest let web site take control of my computer. But I have IE if I need to have a website scan my computer.

  • RYC: I find myself having both liberal and conservative political views as I’ve grown older. It used to be that I was much more liberal than I am now.

  • I was here.

    Now I’m not.

  • that was a cool video. i like your profile pic.

  • is that depeche commode?

  • it’s a shins song. but very poetic. i love them.

  • ryc- ah.. i see jules.. it was originally – tears for fears-

  • I like that video clip. It’s a good song, too.

  • Tom, why do you have some buff naked man on your site? You scare me.

  • Fine. Why then do you think you attract men comfortable enough with their sexuality to use an icon of a naked man on your site? Either way, you’re still scaring me. Everyone has limits as to what they will accept. Even a comment-whore such as yourself would surely draw the line at some point, no?

  • So…naked men are allowed on your site, but not those who question why. Excellent form of neo-censorship. I now have all the information I need.

  • Tag your it! *grin*

    I tagged you so now you must play the game. Rules are below.

    ~~~~~
    6 Weird things about me:
    *THE RULES:   Each player of this games starts with six (6) weird things about himself/herself.
    People who get tagged need to write a blog posting their own six (6) weird things, as well as state this rule clearly.
    In the post you need to choose six (6) people to be tagged and list their names.
  • Video clip was very different. A nice break from the expected.
  • Glad you agree. As a musician and artist, I feel like I’m understanding less and less of what is being produced today because artistry is not given due respect.
    I enjoyed the music video, but I wish I could remember where I’ve heard the song before.
  • For a guy that is aways picking on the theologians site, you’re real good natured about it. A one prop.
    I got a guy that comes to my site all the time. Zero props or one props me. Annoying little prick, he leaves boring comments, you on the other hand good natured about such things. Zero prop me anytime you want to, as long as you are as humorous about it as you are on Dan’s site.
  • Actually, I had written an entire entry entitled “Stalkers are fun.”, but I didn’t like the blog so I deleted all of the text, replacing it with “I didn’t like this entry.”
    So, yeah.
  • RYC:
    Man, men are clueless. Do you know why she says “Get Off Me?!?” Because she’s probably been trying to get you to embrace her for two weeks prior to that and you’ve been OBLIVIOUS. So, she finally works up the nerve to say something and your repsonse is so simple minded. She’s been thinking about this problem for weeks and weeks and you think you can just fix it in two seconds and go back to the organ grinder music that usually occupies your head?
    Men always try to fix something with the simplest possible solution, no matter how long lasting the fix may prove to be.
  • Hey,
    what was with that Kermit the frog thing?
  • RYC: This is sad but… I didn’t see any dolphins….!!
    scaryy…
  • Ohhhhhhh…. now i see them….
  • I had commented on the theoligincafe right underneath your comment..and I didn’t read your comment until after I submitted mine. go back there and read the comment under yours. It was so strange on what I wrote there.
    Christina
  • oops.. it was under the amistad subject.
