Hi Tomas:
We don’t have the capacity right now to listen, so this is just a “hi there”. We’re supposed to be able to get our computer within the next couple of days, however, an hour’s drive to the South of us is experiencing a snow emergency, so we’ll have to see.
Hope you’re doing well these days. Haven’t heard much from you lately. Figuring out all the best steak deals at work? Could be worse!
Terri
Typing this as I listen: Little Nash Rambler? When are you NOT verbose? Immunity? Me? You don’t sound happy – I don’t like it when you don’t sound happy. Hey – you pronounced her name right YAY! They do seem to drift in and out don’t they? More demure than I’d like? Damn right – at least the recording sounds great if you don’t! Oh dear, here we go with the mic specs *eyeroll* I suppose as much as I drone on about unix, I can hear you bore me with microphones. And if you could do a links list that would help with that. Uh-oh; Don’t back read me! I plead the fifth! Heh, my back blog is not nearly as entertaining as YOUR back blog – what with You, Tony and I…Ah, those were the days. Most of those great posts on your blog IMHO, not mine. You should have been on TSS today – lots of new regulars there. Yes, you have your own link now. Oh, you just said that…Nevermind. Yup, “Tom’s Favorites.” Semi-gay shoes! I wore them today because it snowed. It a journey alright, but often a circular one, unfortunately. We just do the best we can when we can. No-call/No-show? WTF is wrong with you? Oh boy, more communication issues – don’t take all the blame on that one, it takes two to tango dude. This reminds me of the theme song to Three’s Company. I have no idea what you’re talking about, but I suppose you want it that way. BTW, it’s not only ME who’s spending time offline Mr. NOT ON AIM ANYMORE DURING THE DAY! Tell me this about the movie, did it have a good soundtrack? Complaints? You didn’t write “Print Fucking Receipt” on something a customer would see did you? Yes – getting to know yourself is never time poorly spent; great rewards will come from this. Come deliver me some food biotch! What do they serve at ‘Steak Out’ anyway? Steak? You are the sum of all your experiences. This is never a bad thing. I still haven’t turned a critical ear to the score, ITS ON MY LIST OF THINGS TO DO. Extroverts and introverts are gaged on where they draw their strengths, not whether or not they are ‘social.’ Study this – you could very well be an introvert and social, or vise-versa. Sorry, kids came up here screaming – something about TV? Have your people contact my people, we’ll do lunch. “The Wedding Singer” with Adam Sandler. T.D. Waterhouse. Jack McCoy, Assistant D.A. “B.P.P. Huntsvegas?” Books of who’s choosing? Those that are your ideas and passionate to you will be your best bet, that way you won’t lose interest as you seem to so often do, especially when things get tough or you get depressed. I coulda been a contenda. If you need some web-space before you go big-time, we’ll point you at drax0r’s server again. Take this job and shove it. I could market my ass, but who’d pay? Wealth is in the heart. Not everyone is a risk-taker. You have to take risks of the small things first, before you look at the big things. It takes practice. Start small. It sounds like you’ve got the spirit – is the flesh willing? I like where you’re going with this, but you know how you get when you get depressed, KNOW that’s part of your risk; acknowledge it – but DON’T LET IT FORCE YOUR HAND! You have got to be stronger than that. Are you? Dude, here’s what I did: I went to http://vistaprint.com and made up 250 free (FREE) business cards. I then wrote up a resume and stuffed it in my server. Now, anytime I update my resume – the business cards are still valid, it will NEVER EXPIRE! Do this. DO THIS! Give them to everyone. EVERYONE. That’s what I do. I network. I’ll give you the URL when you’re ready. I don’t just give them to IT guys. I give them to my barber, the guy who checks me in to my hotel room, a handyman I met, the security guy at the new space…Your parable reminds me of a book I read from a father to his son: Fill your car up everyday at the mom & pop gas station down the street even when their gas costs more than at the fancy station. The people at the fancy station won’t help you jump your car when its cold outside and stalls. *wink*
