What the…?

Jennifer Morrison is playing Winona Kirk in the new Star Treck movie? I never liked Star Treck. In fact, I hate Star Treck. Why oh why must she do this to me?

You don’t like Star Trek? That’s preposterous. I didn’t know anyone didn’t like Star Trek. Btw, there’s no ‘c’ in Trek. Yeah, I know you did that on purpose. Just remember the Starfleet Moto – walk lightly and carry a Megajoule Phaser. And Jennifer Morrison is hot. No wonder she’s part of Kirk’s family.
@FKIProfessor – And Jennifer Morrison is hot.
That’s my point. She’s hot, so if I want to see her in something else rather than House (which is my anti-drug btw) then I have to watch Star Trek. Star Trek?!?! Come on Jenn. Give me something more…worth my time.
Buuuuuut, this Star Trek was written and directed by that guy who writes Lost and Alias. So maybe it won’t be as crappy as the old Star Trek.
I liked the one where they go to Earth….
@heidenkind – Come to think of it, I did like that movie where Data got emotions…but I was young and that was so long ago.
I am NOT going to see this movie.
@ProfessorTom - Haha. It’s going to be the best movie ever now. It’ll be so awesome it’ll win the Academy Award.
@heidenkind – I hate you.
Extra cool points for you. I’ve never been a fan either. Nice to know we won’t be crossing paths at one of those weird Trekkie conventions.
@ProfessorTom - Mwahahaha
I am a SciFi junkie
I like all of ‘em…so Trekkies and hardcore Star Wars fans both hate me
How come you don’t care for Star Trek?
@DirtyAndShaken – You say you’re not a Trekkie but then you say that it’s nice to know we won’t cross paths at a Trekkie convention. Does Paul take you to those against your will?
@firetyger – Just never could get into it. I like drama that are reality-based. Too much of Star Trek seems fanatical…it just doesn’t bode well for me. As for Star Wars I think I’ve made that point abundently clear over and over.
@heidenkind –
@ProfessorTom - Ew, no. He would drag me to Dragoncon if I’d let him. He is a big comic book junkie fan, though. I guess every guy has something.
@DirtyAndShaken – Me, I have my computers.
What an egotistical statement! I’m quite sure she hasn’t a clue who you are, and furthermore, wouldn’t think of turning down a role of this magnitude based on your opinion if she did.
@ehowton – I’m quite sure she doesn’t know who you are either and won’t sleep with you because you “defended” her on what you claim to be a “peashooter” of a blog.
i always hated star trek too. it was too nerdy and tame.
@ProfessorTom - lol…okay
I like a wide range of SciFi, from realistic to the more fantastical
I do truly hate Battlestar Galactica though. I am NOT a fan of soap operas in science fiction’s clothing
@ProfessorTom -
I’m quite sure she doesn’t know who you are either
I never claimed she did. To further complicate matters, I don’t even know who she is!
and won’t sleep with you
Wow! Where did this come from? I mean, I didn’t mention it – and given that out of the two of us you have the history of trying to get into the pants of every girl who reads your blog, just…wow! Curious!
because you “defended” her
I did no such thing. I simply pointed out how egotistical your statement was.
on what you claim to be a “peashooter” of a blog.
Isn’t it funny how things can sound when they’re taken out of context? I notice you didn’t link to the statement you made which warranted such a response – that you were going to ‘fight’ for an issue…by blogging about it! Next time, consider leaving your apartment if you truly want to fight for something you believe in.
Have a good night, sir.
awww, what a dilemma. I’m not much of a Trek fan either.
@lizheartshakespeare – Good. I think I’ll keep you.
@ProfessorTom - I feel so special
