What’s Solaris?
@petitenoirtenue – Solaris is a unix-like operating system.
Now you have me drooling over the Nikon D60. That is my next major purchase (aside from all things baby), too. I am a Nikon loyal and that is an amazing camera. And it will age nicely. I was actually looking for the non-SLR version from about 3 or 4 years ago, but it’s so hard to find. It should be cheaper now and it’s what I really learned my product photography on. I wish I would’ve jumped on it sooner – I could’ve gotten an entire package of lenses with the body and a bunch of equipment for like $500. But I’ll take an SLR. I approve of this purchase : )
@DirtyAndShaken – I approve of the purchase too…unfortunately, the bank doesn’t.
Additionally, I need a D60 avatar.
My mom has a Nikon D70. She loves it, even though she can barely figure out how to work it.
