It Only Takes Eight Lines
It took over 6,000 pages of lies, half-truths and lawyer doublespeak to get an incomplete so-called “Health Care Reform Bill” passed. Michele Bachmann required only three-fourths of a page and eight lines of text.
Call your Congresscritter and tell them to support Michele’s Bill and put Obamacare six feet under where it belongs.

News for Democrats: we banned slavery with a Constitutional Amendment. It will take more than a phantom “health care” bill for you to bring it back.

yeah, but my California congressman/woman won’t listen to me. Pelosi made sure of that…
@escaping_logic - Vote them out and call more conservative Democrats.
@ProfessorTom - I’ve got the list of names on blog now for who voted for the crap load of tyranny being shoved down our throats. Time to double down and work to end this nonsense
whatever kind of job it was, I am deliriously happy to have it.
don’t you think you will ever get sick? I don’t wish it on anyone, but anyone and/or their loved ones could get catastrophic illness.

The best laws are always the simplest laws
@And_I_love - The issue was never, “If you get sick, you can’t see a doctor.” That’s just non-sense. Furthermore, Congress didn’t just create a utopia, they created a mess.
If Obamacare is so great, why is it that eleven States are filing suit against the law and 37 States are passing nullification laws?
You’ve been sold a bill of goods.
@trunthepaige - Amen! Who can’t understand this one?
@ProfessorTom - I didn’t say you couldn’t see a doctor.
I said insurence companies have a bad habit of cutting off the policy when people are at their sickest. They won’t be able to do that anymore.
No, I do NOT buy the bill of goods (LIES) the the rightwingers TRY to sell.
@And_I_love - Oh admit it you do not not even listen to any opinion not throughly left of center. You have made it rather clear what you think of conservatives. The word evil comes to mind
If you wanna give obama something to veto please wait while I go get popcorn : )
@trunthepaige - Sure, you can fix the US healthcare system in a 1 page law written in crayon. Because insurance isn’t complicated.
@agnophilo - no but you can destroy it in 2700 pages, as well as become tyrants.
@agnophilo - Literally lol. Thanks for that comment.
*gets up and looks outside*
nope, world hasn’t imploded yet. whaddya know.
@obamawatch - You don’t even know what a tyrant is you big baby.
@radicalsounds - Welcs : )
I’d like nothing better than to see that load of BS repealed.
@firetyger - You know how this works. Put the pressure on and don’t stop. If we can’t get it with this Congress (which is highly unlikely to undo the “work” they have just done) we vote them out and try again next January.
@ProfessorTom - I’ll most certainly be doing what I can. Writing letters…making calls… It’s unacceptable for our Constitution to be thrown in the toilet. Enough is enough.
As I understand from a friend who is a Dem and deep into politics (meaning, she works somewhere on Capitol Hill), it’s either buy Obamacare or get a 2% tax hike.
Why not just offer government sponsored health care – at the very least – to those who WANT to pay for it??? Then they’d be in the same runnings as private firms but they could still “ensure” coverage wouldn’t be cut off like they say they’re trying to prevent.
meh -i guess i can do that for ya -just got beat up for a recent rec.–and it wasn’t even somebuddy i love…:-/ -but i bet its one you’d like–did you see the soccoerdad thing?
Great blog!
@cllns_smm - Thanks, Man!
@agnophilo - You really should learn to read for content before responding. I know I have given that advice before, I do not expect you to ever take it
Oh no… universal health care…. health care coverage for every single citizen of the US no matter how sick they are… yes how fucking terrible.
Glad to be Canadian. At least I don’t have fucktwits like this on my land.
I’m working for the GOP in November
@NightCometh - I’m don’t think that’s the right answer either. It’s about supporting the right candidates, not the right party. I do, however, think that the right candidates will run on either an Independent or Republican ticket.
@ProfessorTom - Even if you don’t think it’s the right answer…but I’m still doing it. If we win those 40 seats, we will win back the House.
well ther was no proc seein this pic 2 begin w/ …-soo? dija, punk?
