I’m craving boiled potatoes right now. I want to spare myself of the price of showing up to Ol’ Heidelberg Cafe tonight, but hell, I love me some food and I get paid this weekend, so maybe, just maybe…

Saint Patrick’s Day
Do you have any plans for Saint Patrick’s Day? Any traditions or routines?I just realized that Ol’ Heidleberg is a German restaurant, not an Irish one. EPIC FAIL! -
What Did/Do You Want To Do?
Despite if you’re already in your chosen field or not, list the job or jobs you’ve wanted to work either dreaming as a kid growing up or something you want to try as an adult. It doesn’t matter if you can’t actually do the job; this list is about defining dreams and documenting them somewhere. Feel free to tell why you wanted to do the job.
There doesn’t even have to be a particular order to your list. Just go for it. If you want extra protection, you can post anonymously.
i’ll put mine behind a cut.

Congressional Republicans: You Have Been Warned
Today I received an interesting email which I have been given permission to repost. I think this is right on the money and requires no comment from me while simultaneously serving as a jumping-off point for discussion.
Leader Boehner has shown that he totally disrespects the Congressional District Executives in his public support and fund raising for Parker Grifith before the Republican 5th Congressional District Primary. This action by the Minority Leader undermines the Republican Primary Political process and tramples those honest and loyal Republican Candidates, Mo Brooks and Les Phillip of the Alabama 5th Congressional District.
Executive members in the Alabama 5th Congressional District have warned the Alabama Republican Delegation and National Leadership to keep out of the Primary, they have not only refused our request of neutrality but have chosen to escalate this dispute.
Once again the Republican Party has the advantage and the Republican Leadership manages to fumble the ball. Leader John Boehner lost the House because of poor leadership, failing to take the lead on key issues like Tort Reform and reducing government spending. Looking to John Boehner to continue to lead us after he ran the ship aground is irresponsible. After John Boehner’s repeated failure as Majority and Minority Leader why should North Alabama Republicans respect his endorsement of [Democrat] Parker Griffith for Congress.
Bottom line, The Congressional District Primaries are the responsibility of the Local Executive Committee’s, State and National Party leaders must remain neutral until after the Primary. If the State and National Party leadership desires a third party they are taking the proper steps to insure that goal.
