Yeah, forcing people to buy insurance is unconstitutional! …except for medicare, social security disability insurance, survivor insurance, unemployment insurance, SCHIP, auto insurance mandates and anything else the black guy didn’t support.
@agnophilo - If individual States want to mandate insurance, that’s there business. The Federal Government does not have that authority. But we’ll add Medicare, Social Security, etc. to our list of things to repeal come January. Thanks for the tip.
@agnophilo - Why do you hate Obama’s skin color so? You can’t have a conversation without bringing it up. You need professional help.
@ProfessorTom - Good luck. You’ll need it.
@ProfessorTom - Not worth even responding to.
@agnophilo - Are you too much of a coward to own up to your own words?
Georgia is not part of it ; ( I figured as much. Governor Perdue asked to join, but Thurbert Baker won’t do it. I’m sooooo not surprised.
@DirtyAndShaken - Erick Ericson of Red State just tweeted: Members of Georgia House of Representatives are considering impeachment articles against GA-Atty Gen for failing to sue Feds over Obamacare.
Will update when I have details (Though as a competent writer and researcher, I would have thought you would be on top of this given we’re talking about your State of residence.)
@DirtyAndShaken - UPDATE: LINK
@ProfessorTom - Awesome, seriously!
Yeah, I wish I could be more on top of it. I have a very upset teething baby on my hands. He comes first.
Damn California isn’t in this list…
@escaping_logic - Imagine that!
I’ll be on it soon. But living in liberal Jersey, I may be a lost fight. Then again, Congressman Adler (D) voted against this! Maybe I can get him on board!
YES! I didn’t think we’d be on the list.
@grim_truth - Call, make your voice heard and don’t be silenced. If you don’t get it before November, reset by voting them out.
@xWaltzAlyssax - What State are you from?
@ProfessorTom - Michigan.
Go Texas!! And i love the toilet seat cover!!!
I understand Missouri is attempting to use the “nullification” process. May be a better route, as the federal courts have already judged against the states in so many other unconstitutional areas. Why would they treat this one differently?
Shot off a letter to the attorney general today, though I doubt she’ll listen. Maybe a phone call every day until she does lol
